Your Contribution

 

  • Independently manage purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers in line with defined strategies and purchasing objectives.
  • Execute end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing, supplier selection, tendering, benchmarking, negotiation, contracting, and post-purchase activities (payments, claims, complaints).
  • Prepare, implement, and continuously improve purchasing and commodity strategies to ensure reliable supply, cost optimization, and risk management.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and conclude framework agreements and standard contracts in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and operationally manage business contracts, including pricing, technical documentation, specifications, sourcing of first samples, and series acquisitions.
  • Lead and coordinate purchasing-related projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop existing and new suppliers to improve cost efficiency, quality, and supply reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and support supplier development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as engineering, development, technology, controlling, and other business units.
  • Analyze purchasing performance, costs, and risks, and prepare regular reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities are performed in accordance with company regulations, applicable laws, and continuous improvement principles.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, commodity management, or a similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and tendering processes.
  • Strong commercial understanding combined with basic legal knowledge related to contracts and purchasing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured and reliable working approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing/ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English (B2 or higher); knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of products, materials, and manufacturing processes is considered a strong asset.
  • High level of motivation, accountability, and openness to continuous improvement.
