Your Contribution
- Independently manage purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers in line with defined strategies and purchasing objectives.
- Execute end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing, supplier selection, tendering, benchmarking, negotiation, contracting, and post-purchase activities (payments, claims, complaints).
- Prepare, implement, and continuously improve purchasing and commodity strategies to ensure reliable supply, cost optimization, and risk management.
- Negotiate with suppliers and conclude framework agreements and standard contracts in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor and operationally manage business contracts, including pricing, technical documentation, specifications, sourcing of first samples, and series acquisitions.
- Lead and coordinate purchasing-related projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement actions.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop existing and new suppliers to improve cost efficiency, quality, and supply reliability.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and support supplier development activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as engineering, development, technology, controlling, and other business units.
- Analyze purchasing performance, costs, and risks, and prepare regular reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure all purchasing activities are performed in accordance with company regulations, applicable laws, and continuous improvement principles.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, commodity management, or a similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and tendering processes.
- Strong commercial understanding combined with basic legal knowledge related to contracts and purchasing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and reliable working approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing/ERP systems.
- Fluent in English (B2 or higher); knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
- Knowledge of products, materials, and manufacturing processes is considered a strong asset.
- High level of motivation, accountability, and openness to continuous improvement.
