Injection Molding Line Coordinator

Your Contribution:

 

As an Injection Molding Line Coordinator, you will manage a multidisciplinary team to optimize the injection molding sequence, considering model changes and preventive maintenance activities, while ensuring product quality as the top priority.
 
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to the production plan and output targets.
  • Track and manage KPIs, ensuring team members clearly understand and achieve SQDCM objectives set by management.
  • Validate and adjust injection molding parameters to maintain process stability and product quality.
  • Coordinate closely with maintenance and tooling teams to ensure equipment and molds are in optimal condition.
  • Handle production incidents and escalations using the Andon system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Oversee and support operators and team leaders to maintain efficient operations.
  • Verify inventory levels and material availability to prevent production disruptions.
  • Conduct regular shop floor walkthroughs (Gemba / Go & See) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure timely execution of audits (5S, SOT, LPA, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CQRs, VDA ISA TISAX, BIQS) and drive effective implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding and mold design within the automotive industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience leading production teams.
  • Knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, and SMED.
  • Experience operating injection molding machines and adjusting process parametersKnowledge of standards such as IATF 16949, ISO, Q1MCA, VDA 6.3, CQI-29, and BIQS
