Your Contribution

As our Lead Supervisor, you are responsible to lead your production team in daily activities including safety, KPI's, quality, scheduling and continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
  • Manage production schedule for on-time completion, shipping schedule for on-time delivery
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing
    operations.
  • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production schedule
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the personnel who work in the productive areas of Dayton PTC department, including their own integrity (physical, emotional and health), Promotes the stability of the work environment and guarantees the safety of people and equipment in Dayton facility.
  • Ensuring the quality of the product of the production lines under responsibility, talent management, time, material, and machinery resources to make it happen.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with customer indicators (PPM's < 4).
  • Responsible for ensuring customer shipments on time
  • Responsible for managing raw material inventory (availability), meeting customer demand and scheduling production and delivering the product on time.
  • Lead team in problem solving (process, machinery, or production problems).
  • Ensuring new employees are trained on timely manner
  • Review and suggest improvement to the Preventive maintenance programs of the equipment.
  • Promote and facilitate new improvement ideas program to all employees.
  • Support and participate on initiatives to retention programs organized by Human Resources.
  • Lead Shopfloor management meetings with the direct reports, addressing any deviation from standard / budget for (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs)
  • Support to new launches (trials, customer runs and first off builds thru serial production.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Industrial, Engineering, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Production or Product-management role.
  • Strong leadership, decision making, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Good people management, problem-solving abilities, and conflict management.
  • Good English communication
  • Good experience with SAP (preferable)
  • Computer literacy especially in MS office of Excel
