Supplier Quality Specialist

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Planning and quality assurance of purchased parts using quality methods together with assessment and approval of suppliers
  • Tracking of problem solving (e.g. 8D method, Paynter diagram)
  • Work with Product Management and Purchasing  team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements
  • Support Purchasing with the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks
  • Monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance understanding any commercial issues and impacts
  • Manage the Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): supplier claim rate, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators
  • Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality

 

 

Your skills & strengths:

  • Min. 2 years of experience in quality management in the automotive industry
  • Bachelor's degree in quality is welcome
  • Knowledge of technical and quality issues 
  • Knowledge and experience of quality management and audit standards in the automotive industry
  • Nice to have a certificate in VDA 6.3 
  • Experience in SAP (or in another ERP system)
  • Very good knowledge of the English language 
  • Soft skills such as: communication skills, ability to work in an international team, problem-solving skills, willingness to work under time pressure, flexibility, willingness to learn
