Global PMO Expert - Training and Communication

Your role & responsibilities:
- Manages internal communication and develops engaging content for the various PMO communication channels (e.g. intranet, SharePoint, Teams Channels, newsletter, blogs, email, etc.)
- Serves as a PM advisor and systems expert for the various project management processes, methods and tools and advises/trains PMO/PM community and other domains on proper utilization
- Coordinate educating PMO/PM Community with the explanation of PM process descriptions, methods and tools; develops and maintains self-help training materials (from existing content), work instructions and templates for Project Managers (PMs)
- Engage with PMO/PM community to assess and evaluate communication and training needs and services
- Promote and communicate best practices across the PMO/PM organization
- Collects, processes and provides dashboard data and reporting to BU2 management as needed (e.g. monthly PLM reporting, KPI reporting, etc.)
- Defines, approves and implements project management (PM) processes, methods and tools
- Defines and maintains the storage structures for projects, templates and other information; controls and verifies the usage of provided documents
- Act as a change agent to facilitate value-added continuous improvement and optimization of processes, tools and methods related to project management from a global perspective
- Coordinates regionally the PLM Systems updates/migration required to PM domain in order to assure adherence to the current process
- Manages the maintenance, testing, and improvement of the IT tools, especially the Project Management System and MAHLE Information Platforms
- Represents the BU2 PM community at the BU2 PLM bodies and organizational units
Your skills & strengths:
- At least 2 years of experience in project/program management (PDP, PMBoK – Product Management Body of Knowledge or similar), or in the design of project management systems and tools, is needed
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Fluency in English
- Higher education
- Technical ability required including strong working knowledge of PM Software, databases, and Excel. (Systems integration experience is an advantage)
- Ability to handle projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of business problems
- Proactive approach with strong initiative
- Proven leadership and facilitation experience in driving initiatives to successful outcomes
- Willingness to travel (max. 10%)
