Purchasing Specialist

Your role & responsibilities:

• Create RFQ and negotiation of small orders according to approval and signature guideline, savings reports
• PO creation
• Order Confirmation follow up (including escalation and claim to suppliers)
• Create market surveys for eastern Europe based on specified requests for defined material segments
• Evaluate potential new suppliers regarding process quality and reliability as well as costing and optimization potentials
• Negotiate & close confidentiality agreements, manage first RFQs and evaluation 
• Analyse cost of products as compared to cost estimation or existing products, question, correct and optimize cost level
• Assist standard contract negotiations
• Provide cost comparisons and prepare sourcing decision
• Ensure successful ramp-up in reference projects
• Support to develop suppliers in scope to achieve better levels of NCR’s & PPM, including on-site visits
• Support global supplier evaluation in data collection, compilation, result & follow up

Your skills & strengths:

• Communicative in English and German in speaking/writing
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Technical education and experience to understand order/invoices contain and drawings
• Experience in working with SAP tools and Microsoft Office
• Capability to conduct independent small commercial negotiations
