Transition & Transformation Specialist in Linux

Your role & responsibilities:

• Develop high-level and low-level solution designs for new Linux and Container Services according to defined processes and methods at the request of the Business Relationship Management team.
• Verification of new solutions (e.g. PoC testing) and creation of business cases for management approval.
• Management of multidisciplinary projects, including technology, organisation, international and multi-country projects. 
• The implementation of new technology.
• The documentation required for the transition to operation includes the following service description, specification and operational instructions
• The transition and transformation of existing technologies in a global delivery model will include the establishment of knowledge transfer, coaching and, where necessary, training.
• Adherence to existing rules for project technical content change processes.
• Direct control of service delivery units and assigned project members.

Your skills & strengths:

• 3 - 4 years of experience in Linux and Systems administration and automation
• Administration and installation of Linux servers (SuSE Linux Enterprise, RedHat)
• Very good English skills (min. B2)
• Strong knowledge of project management
• Nice to have an experience with integration the automation procedures to existing or create new operational procedures for ease of deployment and maintenance activities (Ansible/AWX and Python)
• Operation of virtual servers (VMWare, KVM) 
• Monitoring and performance analysis (Nagios, BMC Remedy, Wotan)
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness to work under deadline pressure
