Supply Chain Planner - Special Freights

Your Contribution

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating special transports, managing tenders and ad hoc requests, and ensuring efficient carrier selection. You will monitor transport execution and service quality while maintaining close cooperation with Plants & Regional Logistics teams and Forwarders. Our customers are EMEA plants, while transports to and from these locations are executed on a global scale.

Place of work: Ostrów Wielkopolski, ul. Staroprzygodzka 117

• Cooperate daily with forwarders, MAHLE plants and regional logistic teams
• Manage ad hoc tenders and transportation requests
• Create RFQs based on data provided by requestors
• Collect and analyze offers from forwarders in a timely manner
• Select the most suitable transportation solutions
• Place transport orders
• Manage transport-related risks
• Monitor the entire transport process
• Ensure on-time deliveries
• Build and maintain positive relationships with MAHLE plants through daily cooperation
• Work in a two-shift system (07:00–15:00 and 12:00–20:00)

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport planning, or the TSL industry
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written); German will be an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under time pressure
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Sense of ownership and responsibility in a dynamic working environment
• Higher education; logistics-related studies, courses, or knowledge of logistics processes in the automotive industry will be an advantage
