Security Architect - Application Services

Your role & responsibilities:

• Responsibility for all aspects of IT Security Architecture within the IT internal Service Unit Application Services – focus on application security and secure software development / integration
• Support of the global Enterprise Architecture Management in the development of strategies to improve the IT security level of business or engineering applications and the software development process
• Close cooperation with the IT Security architects of the other IT Service Units
• Ensure compliance of all business or engineering application related IT Services with the applicable IT (information) security policies, standards, and guidelines
• Support service owners in all relevant areas of IT security in the design of new services and the further development of existing application services
• Further development and revalidation of the IT security standards and configurations for the specific application services as well as ensuring compliance of the application services
• Actively monitoring the development of current security threats and technologies and establishing and maintaining contacts with manufacturers, suppliers, and institutions

Your skills & strengths:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in (secure) application development or application integration, preferably at least partly in a cloud environment
• Knowledge and practical experience in secure software development and application security testing
• Knowledge and practical experience in application technology platforms, communication protocols, encryption, data exchange standards
• Knowledge of IT security standards such as ISO 2700x or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Knowledge of special security requirements for cloud services advantageous
• IT security certification (CISSP, CCSP, TISP, CEH, …) advantageous
• Knowledge of IT architecture and process methodologies (TOGAF, ITIL, ...) advantageous
• Knowledge of GDPR and experiences regarding practical GDPR compliance advantageous
• Very good skills in English
