SAP BI/BW Consultant / Project Manager

Your role & responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key business users to understand current business problems and identify reporting opportunities.
• Record, analyze and confirm business requirements in technical specification documents.
• Develop or modify reports by considering end user requirements, best fit reporting tool, data model availability and/or limitations.
• Handle support requests related to reporting by providing sound, innovative, and practicable solutions.
• Monitor daily data loads and correct any errors in a timely fashion.
• Prepare deliverables, including documentation and training material for all users.
• Build and maintain relationships with business users and IT application teams to ensure business requirements are being met in a timely manner.
• Assist in the testing of new releases, upgrades, or patches of SAP BW on HANA and BW/4 HANA
• Provide timely status updates to the BI Manager on all work requests and issues/concerns.

Your skills & strengths:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working within SAP BW with a focus on gathering and analyzing business requirements, report solution design and front-end report development.
• Bachelor' s Degree preferably in Computer Science/Business Information Systems or equivalent
• Very good English language skills
• Experience of ERP processes in PP, MM or CO
• Strong understanding of SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Data Warehousing concepts
• Technical knowledge and experience with the SAP BW on HANA & SAP BW/4 HANA modeling techniques
• Experience with design and construction of dashboards
• Experience with process chains and authorizations
• Ability to evaluate technical approach and discuss pros and cons of each to arrive at a best possible solution
• Intercultural communication skills, strong teamwork and collaboration skills
