Linux Technical Engineer

Your role & responsibilities:

• Technical implementation and commissioning of IT applications desired in an international environment (Template/POC rollout)
• Data migration and interface management
• Implementation guidance for the operational team
• Support in building and continuous development of knowledge management
• Creation and documentation of technical specifications 
• Evaluation of existing processes and organizations
• Post-implementation problem solving (hyper-care)
• Project management (Initiation and control of all project phases, knowledge and documentation handover, execution of projects)

Your skills & strengths:

• 3 - 4 years of experience in Linux and Systems administration and automation
• Administration and installation of Linux servers (SuSE Linux Enterprise, RedHat)
• Very good English skills (min. B2)
• Nice to have an experience with integration the automation procedures to existing or create new operational procedures for ease of deployment and maintenance activities (Ansible/AWX and Python)
• Operation of virtual servers (VMWare, KVM) 
• Monitoring and performance analysis (Nagios, BMC Remedy, Wotan)
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness to work under deadline pressure
• Nice to have an experience with project management
