Sales & Application Engineer

As a Sales & Application Engineer in MAHLE you will be reporting to the Head of Sales Office Spain and will be the central point of contact to automotive customers for a defined product portfolio.

How can you become part of our success? 

• Acquisition of new business with focus on automotive electronics.
• Preparation of customer quotations and contract negotiations within the technical, commercial and timing conditions of new projects, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
• Commercial and contractual responsibility for assigned projects over the complete product life-cycle.
• Monitoring of the automotive market, and of the demands and trends of our customers.
• Collaborate with product management to advance our customer and product marketing strategies.
• Responsibility for overall sales planning and volume forecasting to enable operations planning.

What skills do you need? 

• University degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering with focus on Electronics.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Further languages, especially Spanish or German, are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electronics from design and production point of view, specifically for automotive power electronics applications.
• Business administration knowledge focused on product costing and pricing.
• Pro-active and goal-oriented way of working with ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and frame conditions.
• Team player mentality with cross-cultural competences.
• Willingness to travel, if required.
• Working experience in the automotive industry, specifically in the areas of Sales and/or Project Management.
• Prior experience with Automotive Electronics or Electromobility is a big plus.
• Outgoing personality with good presentation and communication skills.
