Prototype Test Hardware Engineer

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Development of functional testers, either for prototype phase or serial production, from engineering requirements till the handover to the final departments.
• Validation of equipment and installation support on the serial line.
• Documentation and training to the final departments.
• Evaluation of electronic test requirements, coming from project engineering team.
• Development of test applications for industrial automation testers, in collaboration with the SW and MEC test engineers, to meet the requirements agreed with the project team.
• Definition of the instruments and circuitry needed to execute the test.
• Participate on the creation of tester specification and documentation for equipment maintenance.
• Proposals for improvement and troubleshooting of failures and incidents encountered during the equipment validation and installation process.
• With the target of standardization of instruments and tools: evaluation of new tools/instruments and processes for testing power electronics DUTs.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Academic background: Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Technical competences:
  • Ability to read and compose complex electrical diagrams both digital and analog.
  • Extensive Knowledge on the use of laboratory instrumentation.
• Working experience: 3 years of experience in automotive sector.
• Languages: English B2, Spanish C1.
