Project Manager Compressors

Plan and lead compressor projects that are key in insuring MAHLE’s future position on the e-compressor market. Be the key contact with customers on project execution level. 

How can you become part of our success? 

• Planning and management of global customer projects from concept phase to production in an international environment.
• Overall responsibility for the successful execution of projects to achieve project goals with regards to costs, profitability, quality, and timing.
• Coordination of project team members, customers, internal and external development partners, suppliers, and production locations.
• Planning and assignment of work packages to team members and monitoring and controlling project progress.
• Overall responsibility for creating and controlling the project budgets.
• Project reporting and presentation to management.
• Coordinate and ensure process compliant change management within the projects and track schedule and costs.
• Ensure the application of standardized project methods and tools (PDP (PTO), APQP).
• Interface with customer and inside the organization (in coordination with sales).

What skills do you need? 

• Successfully completed technical or economic studies.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in project management and/or sales in the automotive industry.
• Good entrepreneurial thinking and actively customer and process orientated.
• Experience in working with global teams at different locations and proficiency with typical project management tools (MS Project, quality-Tools risk planing and analysis tools))
• Fluent in English. German is a plus. 
• Willingness to travel.
• Additional qualifications in project management through certified programs (IPMA, PMI, etc.) are a plus.
• Team player with good social and intercultural skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good communication skills with international teams.
• Good time and resource management.
