Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

  • Your main goal is adding value to the business. You continuously improve (or create) new methods, processes, and workflows system based (PLM, ERP, ALM...) and quality-centric, whose target is improving the productivity of internal departments (Mechanical Eng., Purchasing, Warehouse, etc.). Besides, you will also get engaged with the research and development of internal tools, templates, and systems across the Mechanical Department.
  • You will play a key role in Mechanical Database management and maintenance, as well as its definition for technical information (datasheets, supplier’s drawings, application notes, handbooks…). Also, you will provide support to other Technical Office engineers with the components and material libraries for e-CAD & m-CAD.



Your Skills & Strengths

  • BSc+ or MSc degree in a relevant Engineering field (e.g., mechanical engineering, aerospace, electronics, physics…)
  • At least 3 years of experience with ERP and/or PDM/PLM software (SAP, PTC Windchill, Teamcenter…)
  • Excellent knowledge in the field of technical documentation management, databases, etc.
  • Skilled in technical, correct, and effective communication with worldwide and cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in 3D CAD modelling and technical drawings (preferable UG/NX)
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent social, communication and coordination skills. [Highly Valued]
  • Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude and eager to drive own development.
  • Deal with uncertainties.
  • Technical leadership: sets out direction for technical project teams.
  • Helicopter view (zoom in – zoom out).
  • Work experience in the automotive sector. [Highly valued]
  • Broad mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Fluent in English, eager to learn Spanish (if applicable).
