Development Engineer Software

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Creation of innovative, hardware-related software (embedded software) in C / C ++.
• Conception of controls in Matlab / Simulink with generation of Autocode e.g. for controlling electric motors, power output stages or converters.
• Documentation of the software design and architecture preferably in UML.
• Support and coordination of development partners for software development.
• Compliance with and definition of development standards (work according to the V process, functional safety, security, agile methods and corporate guidelines).
• System understanding from the perspective of the software discipline.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, control engineering or computer science.
• In-depth experience in software C / C ++ in the field of µController in application development, e.g. for power electronics or electric motors.
• Very good knowledge of modeling and simulation with Matlab / Simulink.
• At least 3 years of experience in series development for software in the automotive sector.
• High level of identification with future technologies in the automotive industry and knowledge of automotive systems.
• Knowledge of UML and components of the basic software is an advantage.
• Fluent Spanish and English skills, desired German.
