Your Contribution:

 

As a Warranty Analyst you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the warranty process, including claim review, customer communication, returned-part evaluation, failure analysis, root cause investigation, and reporting. You will role work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve warranty concerns, drive corrective actions, and improve product quality.

 

  • Receive, inspect, and evaluate returned parts.
  • Conduct Level 1 failure analysis and testing.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to warranty investigations.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Monitor warranty metrics and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer teams.
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions as required.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • ASE certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work hands on to test or evaluate returned parts
  • Ability to stay organized with both parts, equipment and data
  • Able to complete data entry with accuracy and complete reports for tested components
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with warranty systems of the vehicle OEMs (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, Paccar, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001 and customer specific requirements
