Senior Account Manager
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for revenue efforts of Industrial Electric Drive Systems product sales by addressing the market needs with our product and sales programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Strategic view and acting with global sales

Manage the customer relationship.

Conducts research related to market, product/service, and customers.

Identifies customer prospects and initiates contact with targeted accounts.

Conducts customer needs assessments and prepares and delivers presentations/proposals.

Internal communication (presentations opportunities, usage of MAHLE sales tools -. SOF, PAC, Reports, etc.)

Continually reviews customer requirements and competitive offerings and proposes product development initiatives to address significant opportunities for growth.

Maintains comprehensive, technical understanding of product/service offering.

Develops channel specific sales and pricing strategy and align within organization

Generates new business sales by effectively demonstrating the value of product/service to the customer.

Conduct negotiations with customer on pricing in accordance with agreed upon targets.

Ensures that customer concerns are addressed appropriately and effectively.

Works with Warranty Technician and Quality to ensure that warranty reports delivered on time.

Undertakes all reasonable initiatives that will increase the customer’s satisfaction and retention.

Participates in other business-related activities, including forecasts, budgets and business plans, and monthly meetings, exhibitions, seminars, etc.

Works with Product group, Product segment, IT, Finance and other business functions, where appropriate to develop customer solutions.

Works with Marketing to develop appropriate messaging for various sales channel opportunities.

Continually looks for ways to enhance revenue and profit generation opportunities and increase operational efficiency of service delivery.

Utilizes knowledge of mechatronics products (motors, inverters and other electronic components) and relevant markets and competitive requirements to expand sales volume while ensuring profitability.

Defines and assists in developing Industrial Electric Drive Systems marketing tools.

Prepares timely reports and is well organized and effective in time management.

Proper and adequate planning and preparation is required.

Transfer knowledge to other employees (realization, monitoring)

Leadership or proxi for leader in general topics (optionally)

Other duties as assigned or specifically needed to meet objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience in strategic planning and business development.
-
Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field.
-
7+ years of experience in strategic planning and business development.
-
OE & Automotive experience preferred.
-
Knowledge or experience with customers and markets as Material handling, Off-road, Industrial electric drive systems, Agricultural, Construction equipment, Leisure
-
Knowledge of Industrial and leisure Electric Drive Systems industry, market, distribution channels and customers preferred.

Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and technology
-
Proven record of successfully growing a business with expanded customers and markets.
-
Experience building and managing customer relationships to seek out and identify new business opportunities.
-
Self starter requiring minimal supervision.
-
Strong organization, time and project management skills.
