Report to Head of Sales for the respective business unit
Tasks
1. Strategy
- Support the definition and implementation of the key account sales strategy
- Develop and direct Sales activities to maximize profitable growth of the market share at the customer
2. Budget
- Support set up and reviews of budgets along with appropriate corrective measures if needed
3. Acquisition of New Projects
- Pursue new business opportunities by collecting information in early stage of the sourcing
- Define target price based on the minimum selling price calculated by the BU
4. Sales Processes and Communication
- Pursuing price agreements and setting new prices in agreement with company’s policy
- Negotiation of contractual changes (price, material fluctuation, etc.)
- Communicate and give guidance internally
- Keep close contact and excellent collaboration with the BUs
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Establish long term relationship to the customer
- Strengthen contact network within customer’s organization
- Targeting to be considered a strategic supplier of high competency
Education and experience level
- University Bachelor degree or above (Engineering or Business major preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Management is Required
- Automotive Industry or Commercial Account Management experience is preferred
- Ability to manage 1 or more customers and customer accounts which entails in depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development
- SAP experience is preferred
Language Skills and Qualifications
Japanese as a first language and good English language skills are mandatory
