Your Contribution

You will oversee HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management across multiple sites within the region, driving the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE standards while systematically managing safety and environmental risks. In close collaboration with on‑site teams across all areas of occupational health and safety, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives and help embed a strong safety culture. By supporting the operation of ISO‑based management systems and assisting each site, you will contribute to raising the overall HSE performance level of the region.

  • Collect and analyze safety and environmental data from multiple sites in the East Asia region, identify trends, and propose improvements
  • Understand corporate and regional HSE policies and adapt them appropriately to local conditions
  • Share incidents and lessons learned across sites in collaboration with local teams
  • Support each site in conducting incident and near‑miss investigations
  • Identify root causes and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Ensure appropriate reporting and documentation processes in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards
  • Improve systems and processes to prevent recurrence and strengthen the safety culture
  • Support the development and follow‑up of annual HSE activity plans
  • Develop HSE training frameworks, provide training sessions, and create training materials for each site
  • Promote shop‑floor‑driven safety activities and enhance safety awareness
  • Conduct workplace inspections and internal reviews to identify issues and recommend improvements

 

Your Experience and Qualification
・10+ years of practical HSE experience in manufacturing (automotive or heavy industry preferred)
・In‑depth understanding of Japanese occupational health and safety regulations
・Business‑level Japanese (including reading/writing of kanji)
・Business‑level English
・Basic knowledge of incident investigation and continuous improvement activities
・Knowledge or internal audit experience related to ISO management systems (45001 / 14001 / 50001)
・Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with stakeholders on site
・High ethical standards and proactive mindset toward safety and the environment
・Logical thinking skills to assess risks, set priorities, and take action
・Flexibility to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels
・Initiative in driving continuous improvement and systems development
