Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Assessment and approval of E/E suppliers and supplier production processes.
  • Perform supplier audits and supplier assessments, define development actions
  • Planning and assuring quality of purchased parts applying quality methods. (e.g.APQP)
  • Perform process, risk and quality audits at suppliers, including development,
  • implementation, tracking and monitoring of effectiveness of supplier corrective actions
  • Problem solving tracking (e.g. 8D method, Pareto, lessons learned)
  • Active contribution in teams to develop and implement supplier strategies
  • Team work with purchasing, project teams, plants and central functions
  • Support of preparation, review and release of Quality agreements with suppliers
  • Supplier visits/meetings (including travel as needed)
  • Internal and external reporting including related activities
  • Collaboration in projects and documentation/presentation of results
  • Active contribution in development activities for electric / electronic components with suppliers
  • Advanced quality planning for purchased components with focus on electric, electronics and software
  • Surveillance and evaluation of ASPICE and Functional Safety (ISO 26262) activities with suppliers
Your Skills & Strengths
  • University Studies in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering

  • Experience with E/E specific quality requirements

  • Experience in ASPICE and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

  • At least 3-5 years experience with E/E components development, production or quality assurance activities

  • Experience in evaluation and approval of electric / electronic supplier-production processes

  • Certified auditor for. VDA 6.3 or IATF 16949 and first experiences as a 2nd party auditor

  • Knowledge in applying AIAG or VDA core tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, 8DReporting)

  • Broad technical knowledge as well as a target and problem solving oriented work style

  • Independent work style, responsible work behavior, team player and interdisciplinary thinking

  • Business-fluent English language further language skills desirable

  • Up to 50% travel required
