Project Controller
Your Contribution
As a Project Controller, you will drive financial transparency and support data-driven decision-making across international projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Ensure financial transparency across assigned projects by monitoring cost development, identifying deviations, and providing meaningful analyses.
- Prepare and maintain accurate product and project cost calculations using inputs from engineering, purchasing, production, logistics, and other stakeholders.
- Support Project Managers and cross-functional teams in achieving project budget, cost, investment, and profitability targets.
- Act as a trusted financial business partner, providing insights and recommendations to support project-related decision-making.
- Prepare financial scenarios, business cases, and make-or-buy evaluations in line with MAHLE standards and guidelines.
- Track, analyze, and report key project financial KPIs, including costs, investments, margins, variances, and risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting throughout project milestones, quality gates, and governance processes.
- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders to ensure completeness, consistency, and alignment of project financial data.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, drive mitigation actions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes and tools.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in controlling, project controlling, financial planning, or cost analysis.
- Strong understanding of cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and product costing.
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office, especially Excel; FACTON knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
- Fluent English; German is considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
