PLC Specialist

Your roles & responsibilities:

• Propose software and hardware solutions so that the price of new equipment is as low as possible
• Studies the work sequences of the production equipment and proposes program optimizations so that the cycle times are improved.
• Participate together with PE/ME in the pre-acceptance and acceptance of new equipment.
• Participate together with PE/ME in the training of operators and technical staff for new equipment.
• Assist and support the installation of new production lines
• You will be up to date with new technologies and you will propose their introduction for specific MAHLE of external plant suppliers
• Process optimization of ongoing series projects (VA/VE, PPI, iPCO, fault analyses, failure analyses, set-up time analyses
• Support during project ramp-up until handover to production
• Reporting to head of manufacturing manager.
• Introduction and execution of the measures from Q-Alarms (8D Report, A3 Problem solving)
• Individual responsibility to achieve the targets

Your skills & strengths:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
