PLC Programing Engineer

Your contribution 

As an Equipments / PLC Programming Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of automation systems by developing, maintaining, and optimizing PLC-controlled production equipment.

• Ensure the reliable operation and availability of automated production equipment from both hardware and software perspectives.
  

• Provide expert technical support for troubleshooting complex automation, electrical, and control system issues.
  

• Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  

• Develop, modify, test, and validate PLC, HMI, servo, safety, and other automation applications in line with business requirements.
  

• Monitor equipment performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.
  

• Manage PLC, HMI, safety, and servo software libraries, ensuring proper version control, documentation, and traceability.
  

• Maintain complete and up-to-date backups, technical documentation, and automation standards across production equipment.
  

• Ensure automation systems comply with internal standards, cybersecurity requirements, and TISAX-related documentation expectations.

Your Experience & Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  

• Proven experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and maintenance support within a manufacturing environment.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming using TIA Portal.
  

• Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems development, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  

• Experience with safety PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and industrial networking technologies such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and Industrial Ethernet.
  

• Understanding of servo drives, motion control systems, and automation architectures, preferably including Siemens and Festo solutions.
  

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control system documentation.
  

• Good command of English and strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
