Sales Manager
Effective January 1, 2025, MAHLE has merged its former business units “Engine Systems and Components”, and “Electronics and Mechatronics” into the new business unit “Powertrain and Charging”. With this change MAHLE will consequently strengthen its strategic field of electrification by connecting the focus areas of efficient electric motors and intelligent charging to the Group’s competencies from over 100 years of experience in engine systems and components.
Electronics and mechatronics components are playing a crucial role in enhancing powertrain efficiency and the transition towards e-mobility. With its electric drives, power electronics, control units, actuators and auxiliaries, MAHLE provides a broad offering of innovative solutions for electrification.
Your Contribution
- Responsible for achieving sales quotas and managing the assigned strategic account objectives through the direct sales channels.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Proactively assesses clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis, giving a feedback to the company.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary personnel.
- Focuses on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
- Develop new business from existing customers, Develops, manages and maintains the After-sales service.
- Develops and manages client resources, to support the application of product technology for customers.
- Takes part in preparing Annual Budget and Strategic Sales Plan and price quotations according to the sales policy of the company.
- Identifies and reports about the potential after market.
- Performs regular customer review calls and routine follow up calls.
- Manage new projects: Manage full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Other tasks arranged by line manager.
Your Experience& Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, majored in Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- Over 3 years of the experience in related function.
- Good technical, product and quality tools knowledge, and project management knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and selling skills, presentation, negotiation and management skills.
- Necessary previous experience in account management or direct sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good English skills.
