Your Contribution
As Team Lead Statutory Group Accounting (f/m/d), you will be responsible for group accounting for the European region. You will lead an international team and serve as the central contact for complex accounting and consolidation topics.
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of the European Corporate Controlling Accounting team
- Support of subsidiaries with accounting issues and reporting packages
- Execution of consolidation steps (especially capital consolidation)
- Responsibility for initial/final consolidations, mergers, and carve-outs
- Preparation of consolidated cash flow statements and balance sheet attachments for group financial statements
- Development of planning calculations and presentations for management and external stakeholders
- Collaboration with auditors and internal departments
- Participation in the implementation of new systems (SAP BCS/4HANA)
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Accounting/Controlling/Finance
- Extensive professional experience in group accounting or auditing
- Initial experience in team leadership
- In-depth knowledge of accounting for individual and consolidated financial statements under HGB and IFRS
- Analytical thinking, strategic working style, and intercultural competence
- Confident handling of SAP consolidation systems and MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent German and English language skills
