Tasks
- Leading global engine components (piston, rings, liners) product expertise for designers and applications engineers worldwide
- Performing technical risk analyses and releases deviations from product standards
- Leading technical problem-solving, decision finding and implementation in complex customer projects worldwide
- Review and implementation of processes to continuously improve product specifications
- Leads global cooperations with universities
Qualifications
- Successful study or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences or comparable
- Profound and up-to-date engine component technology knowledge from at least 15 years working at an international Tier 1 supplier
- Thorough engine component production process knowledge
- Strong prolem.solving skliss (e.g. 8D, six sigma)
- Excellent English and German communication skills
- Strong implementation / solition oriented mindset to lead diverse and distributed team
