Internship IT Innovation & Digitalization

Time period 

• From September 2026 for a period of 6 months

Tasks

• Contribute to the IT Innovation & Digitalization department and support the teams IT Innovation and AI, Digital Transformation Office, and the Digital Action Field Business Excellence
• Support the execution, coordination, monitoring, and documentation of international, company-wide digitalization projects, including related requirements management
• Project focus areas (selection):
  • Process automation using AI (Generative AI, Agentic AI)
  • Application of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision
  • Cross-functional feasibilitiy studies (Proof of Concepts) on digitalization and AI
  • Strategic communication and change management related to digitalization and AI (including enablement & learning)
• Preparation and follow-up of various project meetings in collaboration with the Project Management Office and the project team

Requirements

• Studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study – ideally already in a Master’s program
• Interest in project management (SCRUM, agile methodologies), process management, and digitalization topics
• Affinity for new technologies, especially in the fields of AI and digitalization
• Responsible, well-organized, strong communicator, and able to work in a goal-oriented manner
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
