Your Contribution

  • Perform Customer Service duties: Customer call evaluation, entering customer purchase orders, pricing and availability upon request, processing online purchase orders, emailed orders, faxed orders, etc.
  • Process Customer Credit Application references for review.
  • Process Customer payment inquiries, invoice retrieval, order status and record updates.
  • Assist in Customer returns with Technical Support and Sales.
  • Assist in maintaining pricing data.
  • Enter Credit Card payments through website for customer orders.  
  • Assist in maintaining customer database and open accounts as approved by credit department;
  • Coordinate with shipping, receiving, product development, etc. to ensure customer deliveries and achieved on schedule.
  • Support Sales team with various tasks.
  • Within the position’s scope, contribute to completion of departmental objectives (technical, financial, quality)
  • Maintain awareness of, and meet, the requirements of the Company Quality System
  • Required to observe all safety rules and regulations.  Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around work area
  • Complies with Company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards
  • Employee duties are not limited to those stated above, but are inclusive of any tasks assigned by supervisor/manager

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years customer service or call center experience; preferably in the auto industry
  • General Automotive knowledge
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good PC skills: Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel and Access)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents.  Ability to respond effectively to common technical inquiries from customers.
  • Ability to apply and understand advanced mathematical concepts and equations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
