Sales Representative Automotive Aftermarket - Base Indonesia (MAPL)
Your Contribution
As a Sales Representative Automotive Aftermarket, you will drive sales growth by managing distributor relationships, expanding market presence, and executing strategies for market development and product launches. You will analyze market trends, identify opportunities and risks, and provide regular reports to support business decisions while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Manage existing distributors to ensure the planned levels of sales in the given targeted markets.
- Prospecting and open new distributor accounts in selected markets given.
- Managed the existing distributor’s performance, push for sales target achievement.
- Identify and monitor the trends in given market and analyze competition.
- Define opportunities & risks from the market analysis.
- Initiate the action plan for the targeted market development, market penetration, new product launch.
- Report regularly (monthly, quarterly, yearly) to the head of sales on all the above points with focus on growth drivers, preparing and proposing business cases to seize opportunities and mitigation plans to reduce risks impacts.
- Visit customers to maintain and improve relationship with our business partners.
- Direct market research on various products & competitors.
- Attend applicable industry events and participates in national, regional and customer trade shows to support achieving the sales target.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Must be an Indonesian citizen (company does not provide sponsorship).
- Proven experience in sales management and business development within the Automotive Aftermarket sector.
- Experience in the mining industry is considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including products, sales channels, and marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP is an asset.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation skills with the capability to create mutually beneficial agreements.
- Demonstrated success in business growth through customer and market expansion.
- Proven ability to collaborate with customers, peers, and management to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and consider diverse perspectives.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
- Preferably owns a vehicle for customer visits.
- Experience in international trading and the automotive industry is highly desirable.
