Development Engineer Coolant Valve
The activities of the former business units “Filtration and Engine Peripherals” and “Thermal Management” will be merged in the new business unit “Thermal and Fluid Systems”. Here, thermal management will be able to access production competencies in filtration developed within the group over many years, enabling it to place competitive future-oriented technologies on the market. MAHLE is committed to thermal management and intends to continue growth in this area.
Your Contribution
- Responsible for the innovative concept development, prototyping, testing and verification, and problem-solving of multi way coolant valves.
- Responsible for undertaking and achieving the functional and performance goals of the multi way coolant valve for new energy vehicles.
- Responsible for compiling and maintaining technical documents for developing components.
- Collaborate with cross departmental teams, including thermal management module engineers, system integration engineers, and EE engineers, to find suitable cost optimization and smart integration solutions to meet the TMM target requirements.
- Define development direction, schedule, and conduct product development based on market demand.
- Establish internal design standards and guidelines.
Your Experience & Qualification:
- Proficient in the system architecture diagram of the multi way water valve, familiar with product design requirements and market information.
- Proficient in the design essentials of multi way water valves.
- Familiar with the process of component development, validation, and approval.
- Familiar with material selection, esp. commonly used engineering plastics, rubber properties.
