Your Contribution

 As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will adopt a proactive approach in Customer Claim Handling management in China (field + 0km) with full claim process. Manage supplier complaints and develop the quality performance of suppliers with Product Life Cyle Management Team to proactively reduce issues and increase the premium brand recognition of MAHLE as a OE Quality supplier.

 

  • Customer Claims (field + 0km), feedback and correspondence on Tec Warranty platform
  • Customer claim registration in SAP
  • 8D test report evaluation
  • Coordinate with different functions for quality related topics including Sale, Product Management ,Controlling, Purchasing team
  • Inspection coordination with warehouse QA for returned goods
  • Manage Customer Complaints and Problem Solving process
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis in case of non-conformities (Product, Process, KPIs, Audits)
  • Provide Product Test Report to customer
  • Define and Implement Corrective Actions (Product, Process, KPIs, Audits)
  • Monitor supplier quality performance with PLM & MPBQ teams on a regular basis
  • Provide supplier claim overview to PLM & Purchasing teams
  • Reporting of necessary KPIs

 

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or equal
  • Strong knowledge in Quality Management Methods (IATF16949, 8D, RCA, etc.)
  • Experience within Automotive Industry (Independent Aftermarket preferred)
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge about Thermal Management products and production processes a plus
  • Good understanding of IT Tools (ERP, CAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)
  • Fluent in English, for both writing and speaking
  • Team Player
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
  • High level of analytical ability
