Senior Plant Controller
Your Contribution
As a Senior Plant Controller, you will provide key support to plant management in financial planning, reporting, and controlling. Your role includes managing budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing product profitability and manufacturing costs, as well as optimizing business processes through reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculation of standard and actual costs and variance analysis in production controlling
- Calculation of transfer prices within the group
- Participation in the process of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing
- Inventory valuation, monitoring, and analysis of KPI indicators and product profitability (CO-PA)
- Preparation and analysis of gross margins by production segments and proposals for cost optimization
- Support to management and production departments in financial analyses and decision-making
- Preparation of standard and ad-hoc reports, analyses, and presentations
- Participation in cost optimization activities with detailed explanations
- Providing suggestions for process and activity improvements in line with MAHLE standards
- Other tasks as requested by the direct supervisor
- Responsible to the Head of Controlling for the quality, efficiency, and reliability of own work
Your Experience and Qualifications
- University degree – graduate/master in economics (or related field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar controlling positions
- Active English language skills (spoken and written, B2 level or higher)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Preferably knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP controlling tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and in an international environment
- Responsibility, initiative, and dedication to quality in work
