CABLE HARNESS ENGINEER for R&D (senior)

Your profile

•             University degree (Engineer) in electromechanical engineering/electrical engineering/ or electronics

•             Min 5 years experience in automotive, on similar position

•             Expertise in cable harness engineering

•             Customer orientation

•             Fluent English

•             Knowledge MS Office, good IT Skills, SAP – advantage

•             Good communication and presentation skills

Roles & responsibilities

• Serial production support and change management for cable harness and automotive connectors in low voltage ( < 50 Volt DC)
• Management of change requests, PCO (Product Cost Optimization), Market availability of components, Quality improvements, Phase out scenarios
• Project management with suppliers of cable harness and electrical contacts in series projects
• Coordination of project milestones between OEM interface and supplier
• Support of Drawing / CATIA model handling in Zuken and MAHLE tools GTA+/ECTR...
• Support of quality activities
• Preparation of the technical release process
• A/B comparison of change according customer specification
• Coordination and controlling of supplier change process
• Coordination and controlling of samples and validation process
• Responsibility to achieve Cost, Quality and Project Timing Targets for the defined work packages in series support projects
