Your role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for the proper application of 5S rules and HSE performance in their industry and business.
    Regarding continuous improvement:

  • Pilot and report the performance indicators “PPI” and “IPCO Technical” of the performance lift in line with the budgetary objectives set.

  • Is force of proposal of improvement.

  • Documents and presents its continuous improvement projects to the Directorate.

  • Defend investment budgets (CAPEX) for the realization of future improvement projects before the budgetary period.

  • Deploys continuous improvement (CIP) and problem solving (PS) tools.

  • Provides support to operational teams for technical analyses.

  • Is «PPI Sprint supporter» or «PPI Sprint Leader» on other Mahle sites.

  • Guarantor of the deployment of Lean Manufacturing (standardized work, SMED, etc.).

  • Participates in the industrialization of new projects (cardboard mapping…).

  • Initiates mindset change and innovation operations by influencing all levels of the company, to overcome resistance, find innovative ideas and concretize them with the implementation of improvements.

  • Has a special focus on energy saving (electricity, gas and air).
    For MPS:

  • Informs and supports the various departments in understanding and implementing MPS procedures and tools.

  • Prepares and implements all actions necessary for the success of internal and external MPS audits on site.

  • Ensures dissemination and understanding of MPS novelties.

 

Your skills & strengths:

  • Level: Bac + 2 with experience or Bac + 5 (engineer (e) operational excellence, lean) with experience in the automotive sector desired.

  • Languages: French and English (min. B1, good). Please submit your application in English

  • Proficiency in operational excellence tools and methodologies (SMED, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S…).

  • Proficiency in problem solving methods (QCQM…).

  • Mastery of computer tools (Pack office, Gantt).
