Your roles and responsibilities

  • Support in continuously analyzing our global MAHLE Aftermarket warehouse set-up, supply chain and footprint to evaluate fit to market according to market changes and developments
  • Interface to start-ups & cross-industrial benchmarks (“technology radar”) to identify state-of-the art innovation and technologies for our warehouses with the aim of increasing the automatization to enable lean processes, optimize our current cost structure and decrease the human error rate
  • Development and coordination of a global Business Excellence Program to foster Best Practice sharing of methods, processes and tools in all relevant MAHLE Aftermarket functions (e.g. Operations, PLCM, Purchasing, etc.)
  • Implementation of the Excellence Programs in coordination with business units, process owners, subsidiaries and management team to achieve Excellence in everything we do
  • Target group-oriented development of training materials, training programs, methodologies and content, taking market-specific (regions) and product-specific requirements into account
  • Project planning, implementation and controlling of several national and international projects (multi-project management)
  • Selection of project staff (qualification and suitability) and instructions within the framework of the project
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed project goals in terms of costs, quality and deadlines
  • Support and roll-out of plant and technology projects (use case definition, approval and training of new processes)
  • Preparation of management documents for decision-making and reporting

Your skills and strengths

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable training
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in project management or project control with profound knowledge in Operations and Logistics
  • Ideally several years of project experience in national and international process and plant projects with sound and verifiable knowledge or projects in interface management
  • Ideally experience with CAD software and change management projects
  • Very good SAP and MS Office skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary digitization approaches in processes and projects
  • Pronounced self-motivation with high social competence as well as process- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • Business fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • High willingness to travel at home and abroad
