Technical Engineer (MSED)

Responsibilities:

• Structure all product related work in regards to function, quality, cost and timeline.
• Coordinate the work packages of Development and ensure timely decisions in Core Team and Extended Team.
• Create transparency of the Sub-team progress and ensure proper reporting.
• Ensure customer requirements and confirm feasibility (related to product functions) and create lists of requirements/specifications for purchased components and submit to project buyer.
• Create and continuously detail product design throughout project lifetime (in accordance with respective maturity requirements and manufacturability) including a component and prototype concept.
• Conduct functional analysis/ Design-FMEA (incl. list of critical functions and selection of special characteristics).
• Derive design options and ensure decision making for most suitable design solution.
• Ensure robustness of design under all known boundary conditions considering the planned production process.
• Create bill of material (BOM), 3D data, internal and external drawings and ensure that system master data are maintained in engineering data system.
• Ensure availability, quality, validation and release of prototypes and coordinate all related activities (e.g. with internal or external prototype shops).
• Stop delivery of prototypes and pre-series parts in case of a deviation.
• Ensure creation, reconciliation, approval and tracking of the design verification plan (DVP) and validate product design accordingly.
• Initiate and verify simulations.
• Create and maintain an engineering change documentation, and make sure it has been duly communicated, particularly to PRO and PUR.
• Ensure fulfillment of product requirements under adherence of the customer list of requirements and the integration of known lessons learned.
• Conduct the needed reviews to release the product design (including release of drawings).
• Approve procurement release and initiate mass production of purchased components.
• Validate pre-series parts and review customer-validation-parts.
• Confirm DV with series parts (including customer validation approval).
• Sign off Design FMEA.
• Identify design and functionality risks.
• Clarify patent and license issues.
• Support gap analysis.
• Highlight and escalate not fulfilled DEV deliverables and escalate any risks in customer prototype or series part delivery.
• Put in and maintain the documents related to the Domain deliverables in EasyDMS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 year experience in field of project management and new product development, has experience in automotive manufacturing
  process and experience for working in global company and communication skill with teams in global.
• Can communicate in English and Thai.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Auto CAD, Project management tools.
• Understand Quality System: ISO 9001/ IATF 16949.
