Senior Accounting Officer (AR)

Your Contribution

As a Senior Accounting Officer (AR) reporting to Head of Offshoring Accounting, you'll be responsible for managing accounting receivable for Japan entities. 

• Conduct as senior staff of Accounts Receivable Team for Japanese entities.

• Complete Accounts Receivable collection process in corporation with Head of Finance and other team members. Main tasks will be the following yet not limited to:

  • Checking of Customer acceptance/ Customer payment notice.

  • Preparation of AR sub ledger.

  • Obtaining deposit information daily from the web bank, collating with the AR sub ledger, issuing a deposit slip, and confirming with sales if there is a difference and fixing the gap.

  • Check the payment notice and update the AR sub ledger for each customer.

  • Journal entry, posting into the system.

  • Overdue report preparation and follow up.

  • Master data application set up in workflow.

  • Intercompany AR collection

  • Improve processes in AR

• Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadline.

• Assistance in monthly closing.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Good command of English

• Work experience in relevant field of at least 3 years

• Working at manufacturing industry or company with production site is a plus

• Intermediate/advance level of Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint

• Excellent communication skills with team as both interpersonal and team

• Timely and accurate process with ability to meet deadlines financial closing timeline

• Open mind, self-starter, multi-tasking at fast pace working environment
