Your Contribution

 

As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Reviewing Occupational Health and Work Environment standards to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.

  • Executing the annual Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plan in accordance with legal guidelines, and monitoring monthly progress to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Evaluating safety risks and conducting regular inspections to identify unsafe conditions related to machinery, equipment, tools, and the overall working environment.

  • Monitoring SOT (Safe Observation Tour) activities, safety patrols, and attending monthly safety committee meetings.

  • Conducting safety training and monitoring compliance among sub-contractors in accordance with safety procedures.

  • Evaluating company operations to ensure alignment with project safety plans and standards.

  • Providing safety guidance to employees, including conducting training for new hires and promoting adherence to safety regulations and manuals.

  • Recommending and implementing training programs to prevent workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

  • Measuring and assessing workplace conditions, or collaborating with government agencies to verify environmental and safety documentation for audits.

  • Investigating causes of accidents, illnesses, or workplace hazards, analyzing the results, and recommending preventive measures.

  • Collecting and analyzing safety-related data to produce reports and recommendations regarding hazards, illnesses, or disturbances caused by work.

  • Managing waste disposal in compliance with Industrial Department regulations.

  • Overseeing preventive maintenance for the fire protection system.

  • Ensuring the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Supporting TCC (Total Compliance Control) activities.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the employer.

     

Your Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Must have full working rights in Thailand.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Studies.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role.

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems; experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good command of English (speaking, writing, and listening).

  • Able to work at MAHLE Siam Filter Systems (Kingkaew Soi 33, Samut Prakan).
