Purchasing Controlling (MSTH)
Your Contribution
The Purchasing Controlling is responsible for reporting/KPIs and make sure globally developed strategies implemented and used within the regions. Furthermore, it is responsible for drives improvement levers collaboratively with purchasing team as well as creating and coordinating the purchasing budget and monitoring throughout the fiscal year. The Strategic Purchasing works in an international team environment consisting of Purchasing and Controlling.
- Strategically and operationally develop the Purchasing budget, Forecast, and allocations based on market trends in collaboration with Sales, Purchasing, and Controlling.
- Maintain control of purchasing costs and support tracking of Purchasing Controlling data.
- Coordinate monthly performance results with the controlling team.
- Perform stringent performance management and challenge the organization against agreed targets.
- Measure Purchasing performance and develop countermeasures in cases of non-achievement.
- Further develop Purchasing KPIs and global reporting standards.
- Provide management with transparency on key purchasing KPIs with appropriate detail and timeliness.
- Deliver KPIs and analyses in intuitive formats that enable clear judgment and effective decision-making.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience or relevant business experience in an automotive manufacturing (Tier 1) environment.
- Cross-functional exposure (technical + commercial) is preferred.
- Strong logical thinking with sensitivity to data, processes, and systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power BI, data analysis, and data manipulation.
- Strong financial cost analysis, market analysis, continuous improvement, problem‑solving, time management, and process management skills.
- Experience in Controlling or Purchasing functions strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Thai.
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
- Quick learner with effective communication and training skills.
- Logical and open‑minded mindset with target‑focused approach.
- Team player capable of influencing peers and colleagues.
- Ability to work at MAHLE Services (Thailand) Ltd. - Kingkaew Soi 33, Samut Prakan with hybrid working environment.
