Manufacturing Manager - Stamping Press (MSFT)
Your Contribution
You will lead production operations for metal stamping and assembly processes by ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets are achieved. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing performance, develop team capabilities, and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage production operations to achieve quality, delivery, cost, safety, and productivity targets.
- Review and approve production procedures, standards, and operational documents.
- Monitor production quality performance and support Section Chiefs in daily operational management.
- Review and approve quality reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Lead investigations and resolution of production and quality issues using structured problem-solving methods.
- Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen, and productivity enhancement initiatives across production areas.
- Control departmental expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Monitor productivity, production capacity, manpower utilization, and overtime planning to meet production targets.
- Analyze and resolve production losses caused by machine breakdowns, equipment failures, and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and lead workplace safety improvement activities.
- Review and approve safety-related procedures, records, and documentation.
- Lead daily production meetings and promote QC Circle and 5S activities.
- Develop Section Chiefs and production teams through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Support ISO, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in metal stamping and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of metal stamping, assembly processes, machine operation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience using production performance data and KPI management to drive operational improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, or related ERP systems.
- Strong planning, production control, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop subordinates effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and manufacturing management systems.
- Native Thai speaker with strong spoken and written English skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Siam Filter Systems Co., Ltd. – Kingkaew 33, Samut Prakan.
