Manufacturing Manager - Resin Product (MSFT)
Your Contribution
You will lead production operations for resin products by ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets are achieved. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop team capabilities, optimize manufacturing performance, and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage production operations to achieve quality, delivery, cost, safety, and productivity targets.
- Review and approve production procedures, standards, and operational documents.
- Monitor production quality performance and drive timely resolution of quality issues and non-conformances.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurring production and quality problems.
- Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen, and productivity enhancement initiatives across production areas.
- Manage departmental budgets and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Optimize manpower utilization, production capacity, and overtime planning to meet business requirements.
- Analyze and improve production performance by addressing equipment, process, and operational losses.
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead workplace safety improvement initiatives.
- Lead daily production meetings and support QC Circle, 5S, and employee engagement activities.
- Develop and coach Section Chiefs and production teams through performance management and capability development.
- Support customer, ISO, and regulatory audits while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in plastic injection molding and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding, assembly processes, process optimization, and manufacturing operations management
- Experience in leading production teams and managing manufacturing performance through KPIs.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in manpower planning, budget management, and production control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related management systems.
- Native Thai speaker with strong spoken and written English skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Siam Filter Systems Co., Ltd. – Kingkaew 33, Samut Prakan.
