Your Contribution

 

As a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and developing your team to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. You will drive process improvements, oversee quality inspections, and ensure continuous development of your team and production systems.

 
  • Conduct training on quality topics (within the group).

  • Provide advice and guidance to subordinates to ensure they align with standards when issues arise.

  • Carry out and organize PDCA-related activities concerning quality issues found daily.

  • Inspect items related to quality and machinery to ensure proper adjustment and reporting.

  • Use quality inspection results in management.

  • Prepare and update related documents.

  • Improve and develop the quality inspection system to be consistent with production lines.

  • Coordinate with the front-line to align production output with related plans.

  • Plan and implement production execution for PT1 and PT2.

  • Prepare various quality documents such as control charts.

  • Prepare and inspect work equipment for upcoming production.

  • Analyze production problems and make recommendations to improve production efficiency.

  • Report problems or errors related to quality and work to supervisors.

  • Be a leader in problem analysis.

  • Participate in meetings to analyze quality issues.

  • Operate and organize PDCA activities to resolve quality issues daily.

  • Propose improvements from inspection groups, sorting, and appropriate improvements.

  • Participate in safety-related meetings.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of work and development plans.

  • Support team leaders in managing work and improving team members’ quality.

  • Attend meetings and summarize reports to the front line.

  • Prepare for internal OFFJT training.

  • Participate in self-development training.

  • Prepare reports and suggestions for monthly improvements.

  • Supervise subordinates and train newly assigned team members.

  • Supervise work standards.

  • Create training content and TWI materials to improve subordinates’ knowledge and pass assessments.

  • Participate in improvement activities such as KAIZEN.

  • Participate in GK audit preparation activities.

  • Write standard documents such as PT2 or SOP.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., PDCA, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis).

  • Hands-on experience in production planning, process improvement, and machine inspection.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, including coaching, training, and performance evaluation.

  • Good communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Familiarity with quality documentation, SOP creation, and audit preparation.

  • Experience in KAIZEN or continuous improvement activities is an advantage.
