Manufacturing Engineer Section Chief (MSFT)

Your Contribution

You will be responsible for managing and controlling manufacturing operations to ensure product quality, production efficiency, manpower development, safety, and continuous improvement. Drive PDCA, problem-solving, waste elimination, and production innovation to achieve manufacturing goals.

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Monitor product quality, lead problem‑solving activities, and drive PDCA for continuous improvement.
• Manage manpower, assign tasks, and develop operator skills through training and coaching.
• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are in good working condition and support uninterrupted production.
• Improve production processes, eliminate waste, and implement KAIZEN, 5S, and standard work.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and support new product or process changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct routine inspections in production areas.
• Maintain production reports, quality data, and essential documentation (SOP, WI).

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, PDCA, Lean, KAIZEN, and 5S.
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills (5 Why, Fishbone).
• Effective communication, coordination, and decision‑making abilities.
• Familiar with safety standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and deliver consistent results.
• Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Siam Filter Systems Co., Ltd. – Kingkaew 33, Samut Prakan.
