Commodity Buyer (MSTH)

Responsibilities:

• Indirect material/services procurement for the responsible material category, across MAHLE plants, ensure on time, on quality and on cost; Achieve NPM performance target to meet cooperation objective.
• Support and execute the local implementation of global / regional master agreements and supplier panel considering local/regional characteristic
• Identify opportunities and bundling CIP projects across MAHLE plants.
• SAP maintain of vendor master, part master, and other NPM related contract management.
• Ensure compliance with corporate MAHLE NPM purchasing procedures and external ASG (approval signature guideline).
• Coordination interface with the user department of Business Units for demand management.
• Coach and counsel suppliers on the company procurement principles and practices to ensure proper controls are in place and to facilitate efficient and effective purchasing transactions.
• Support resolution involving supply of material or services, account payable, and supplier/site reconciliation.
• Individual tasks from the superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• SAP skill on Material Management Module.
• Professional negotiation and communication skill.
• 1-3 years of Non Production Material Purchasing experience (required), automobile industry experience is a plus.
• Good English both in oral and written.
• Computer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes).
• Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility.
• Logic thinking, target approaching; be able to take pressure.
• Cross-function team cooperation ability.
• Good communication skill and team work spirit.
• Ability to handle sensitive information/data in a confidential manner.
• Hybrid working.
