Your Contribution

As our Logistics Planner, you will be responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate customer/supplier demand activities and supply chain inventories to support production schedules.

  • Correspond with customer representatives regarding current and future product demand.
  • Coordinate customer schedules, negotiating optimum demand levels with current capacity (level schedule).
  • Determine delivery frequency with suppliers and develop supplier communication methods and tools.
  • Maintain Logistics relevant data in SAP system: material master, sales agreements, scheduling agreements, capacity planning, scheduling, forecasting, and more.
  • Solicit sales of existing inventory (over runs).
  • Visit customer or supplier locations as necessary.
  • Develop current and accurate forecast data for product demand.
  • Manage internal inventory including raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods and resolve discrepancies as required.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • An associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. 
  • 2 – 5 Years experience in Material Planning
  • APICS certification is a plus.
