Logistics Planner

Your Contribution
As our Logistics Planner, you will be responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate customer/supplier demand activities and supply chain inventories to support production schedules.
- Correspond with customer representatives regarding current and future product demand.
- Coordinate customer schedules, negotiating optimum demand levels with current capacity (level schedule).
- Determine delivery frequency with suppliers and develop supplier communication methods and tools.
- Maintain Logistics relevant data in SAP system: material master, sales agreements, scheduling agreements, capacity planning, scheduling, forecasting, and more.
- Solicit sales of existing inventory (over runs).
- Visit customer or supplier locations as necessary.
- Develop current and accurate forecast data for product demand.
- Manage internal inventory including raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods and resolve discrepancies as required.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- An associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
- 2 – 5 Years experience in Material Planning
- APICS certification is a plus.
