Cost Accountant - Automotive Manufacturing (MTTH)

Your Contribution

As a Cost Controlling, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing product costs to ensure accurate financial planning, support business decisions, and enhance cost efficiency within the automotive manufacturing environment.

• Prepare and calculate costing for current products and new model introductions.
• Prepare comprehensive cost studies for new projects.
• Create MSP calculations and other related costing analyses in FACTON.
• Provide support in annual budget preparation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing.
• Prepare reports and other costing- and accounting-related documentation.
• Input required data into MOI format and provide cost information for Form D submissions.
• Calculate loss-marking contracts at the end of June and November, and record OC calculation schemes for IFRS reporting related to loss-marking contracts.
• Serve as the Controlling representative for quarterly and annual inventory checks with other divisions.
• Conduct random tagging of inventory following the issuance of inventory check results.
• Support auditors and the Revenue Department with costing and inventory reports.
• Prepare monthly reports for Cash Flow and Performance Lift.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in costing or cost calculation.
• Proficiency in SAP is required.
• Good communication skills in English, with fluent Thai proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Background in New Project Cost Calculation is preferred.
• Engineering experience related to Project Cost Calculation or Cost Control is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Thermal and Fluid Systems (Thailand) Co., Ltd. – Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya.
