Your Contribution:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the department’s resources to achieve production goals. You will supervise and motivate personnel while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for guaranteeing product quality and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and coordinate production operators and team leaders.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the production plan and production targets.
• Ensure employee safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Track production performance metrics and maintain accurate records in OEE systems and production logs.
• Manage quality, production, and safety issues by implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate model changeovers and follow up on material shortages to minimize production disruptions.
• Communicate objectives, performance results, and operational priorities to the production team.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role or demonstrated career progression within the company, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in computer applications and production-related software.
• Knowledge of Control Plans and Process Controls and understanding of the 15 Quality Principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of supervision, quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA, and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs).
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
