Your Contribution:

 

As a Production Planner, you will coordinate production scheduling to ensure customer requirements are met in terms of timing, quantity, and quality, while considering component supply, packaging, line capacity, as well as production mix and priorities. You will also be responsible for meeting the following specific objectives: ≥95% adherence to the production schedule (actual production value vs. planned production value), DOH compliance based on information recorded in flat storage (Kanban), and maintaining a backlog of less than $5K USD for OEM and OES products.
 
  • Ensure effective communication with Customer Service and Planning, including risk anticipation and escalation.
  • Ensure compliance with MPS (Mahle Production System) and corporate audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with MMOG/LE (Materials Management Operations Guideline/Logistics Evaluation).
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels (Days on Hand - DOH).
  • Supervise and ensure accurate production scheduling in MF50 in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with New Launch and Engineering teams for demand planning of new products and engineering changes.
  • Ensure timely return and availability of packaging/containers to support uninterrupted production.
  • Supervise and ensure FIFO compliance in material management to guarantee proper inventory rotation.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning within the automotive industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables.
  • SAP knowledge (MM / PP required; SD preferred).
  • Experience in production scheduling and sequencing.
  • Inventory management experience (DOH, FIFO, Kanban).
