Your Contribution:

 

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in production and management systems focused on driving operational performance and value creation in processes. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge to ensure alignment of key operational metrics to guarantee compliance with the quality system and customer requirements.    

  • Monitor and track production performance indicators to analyze trends, define priorities, conduct analysis, and identify root causes of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, engineering, manufacturing, safety, and logistics) to analyze failures, production losses, and implement process and system improvements.
  • Implement and audit best practices to drive performance improvement through monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support production excellence and continuous improvement initiatives led by operational teams.
  • Solve moderately complex problems independently with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues when necessary.
  • Develop and plan SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) projects as part of continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

    
                            

Your Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Lean manufacturing system knowledge.
  • Control Plan knowledge.
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (ability to participate in meetings with North America and communicate progress and challenges)
  • SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies).
